Tristan rolled over ... very exciting.

last night Tristan was having a play on the floor on his tummy and he raised himself up on his hands and then rolled up onto his side and then over onto his back.. It was rather slow and Phil only just missed it.. very exciting..

He has been behaving himself wonderfully. He has had some fabulous over night sleeps.. it is very exciting.. he is getting smiley and almost laughing at us.. The girls are having a fabulous time talking to him and patting him..

he has this strange look where his eyes are so wide open.. he also has this frowny face.. it's often frowny.. I think he is worried about all the crazy people running around him.

Toast Anyone?

This morning I was pottering around the house, feeding Tristan etc and I had yet to come to the kitchen. Felicity was making noises in the kitchen. I came into the Kitchen and saw her with a chair pulled over to the bench. She was standing up there with a knife in one hand and was so excited to tell me that she was cooking toast. I looked at the bench and saw that there was a piece of bread in the toaster and the toaster was actually on.

OMG's, so yes I turned off the toaster and unplugged it.. and well oohh dear.. lesson learnt.. small children should not be playing with electrical appliances.

I had actually asked Phil to put the over locker away so that she wouldn't lose an arm..
Claire would never have done this.. she would only ever just get yoghurt out of the fridge.

Where did the first baby come from?

So Claire was talking about babies today and she asked me

why did your mum have you as a baby?

- answer being you get a baby, you don't know who it will be.
