my brother the worker
On the weekend Phil and his father were planning on paving.. on friday night I happened to mention to my brother (Thomas) that if he wanted he could coe and help out.. so he did.. he showed up at 9 am (the set starting time) and set to work on all the tasks at hand.. he soon took control of the situation and was in paving paradise.. It was amazing to watch.. he knows all the ins and outs of planning and building.. he stayed till about 5 and then came back on sunday and stayed most of the day as well.. the best bit is that he knows what he is doing.. not like Phil who has never actually paved before but knows the theory.. so the weekend was a big success.. we have a fabulous path (that needs to have the edges trimmed and cemented, Thomas says he will be back with equipment to help out again) and it will looks beautiful.. they also moved the gate in the fence to a new spot.. and the mail man wasn't even confused.. he found the mailbox further down the fence.. hoorah! our garden is coming along nicely.. next we have to plan and plant the garden beds.. hhmm might have to get a wriggle on..
