the weekend news
hhmm what happened over the weekend??
well Friday night I visited Margy and Kate.. Phil was musicing it up in Bayswater.. we watched some telly chatted and ate food.. there was this awful movie on with Madonna in it.. shipwrecked on some island with her being a rude rich twat... turned into a love story.. crazy... we also had pizza for dinner.. which was really cheesy.. as in so much cheese that you had to take small bites.. Margy dropped me off home and when I got inside I was sick.. no good.. very disoppointed with my effort.. I also had really nasty big headache things.. I think it might be sinus realated as i get pain in the same spot when I fly.. i have to use nasal sprays and take pain killers when I fly cos I get big brain aches..
hhmm saturday.. I did some washing.. Phil probably had a heart failure that I was doing washing.. I havenn't done any for months.. so there was putting away and folding and more washing and putting out.. I didn't do any ironing .. Phil did all that last night.. hehee.. he has most of the ironing anyway.. I only had a few shirts.. so after all that excitement in the morning I was pooped.. I spent the rest of the day relaxing on the couch.. ahh lovely.. but much more excitement on saturday evening.. we went to the Richmond (Seafood) Tavern.. Simon's new place of employment.. and it was GOOD! really good.. In fact I didn't eat any seafood.. hehhe.. I am not a big fan.. but I had a yummy steak.. and chips.. hand made by Simon.. lovely.. realy potato's.. he must have to peel so many.. but there was heaps of stuff that the others ate.. calamari, king prawn spring rolls, scallops, mussels, chilli garlic prawns, bugs and a bunch of other stuff.. the waiter staff were just fantastic.. they were always there refilling water glasses.. our insides are now all cleaned out we had that much water.. it is nice to go out to a place where the staff are enthuastic and keen.. makes it taht much nicer..
so sunday.. more resting for me.. oohh oohh I did some driving.. I drove Phil's car to Ikea with Sabine.. she wanted to pick up a bed base for simon.. there was some hassles and no bed base available.. so we went home again.. with a pit stop on the way to visit my dad.. he seems to be improving nicely..
The boys meanwhile had been labouring away in the front yard.. Thomas and Phil and Hilton all spent quality time with the pavers.. and the rain.. its still not completely finished.. but ther is only the curved bit left to do.. hoorah boys! it was ANZAC day yesterday.. I didn't do anything for it.. a bit sad.. my dad usually goes to the march in the city to the shrine.. but he isin't well so he missed out.. on the sideline becasue teh public holday was on the weekend we (Victorians and Tasmanians) missed out on a nice public holiday.. bummer! all the other states are off celebrating in style.. well at least they are sleeping in..
