bulb planting
its almost time up for bulb planting.. and my bulbs were anxious.. some of them were starting to sprout.. so I had a mad rush over the weekend to get them into the ground and some into pots.... It was while I was cleaning out the junk room, I came across a bag of bulbs that Phil's Nana had given me.. They had just started to sprout and I had to go and plant them right away.. so then it got me thinking about the box of bulbs I had in the laundry.. and yep .. some of them were sprouting too.. so i put all the small ones (ranunculi's, anenomes, tritonia's, hyacinth's and fresia's) that I could into pots.. and then the others (iris's and daffodils and muscaris) into the garden.. it is very exciting.. many of the ones from last year are all sprouting about.. I still have some tulip's in the fridge getting nice and cold.. I had better plant them this weekend..
Oohh th egarden is going to look just delicious.. how exciting.. if i get some more potting mix I could put the tulips into that instead of the garden.. Phil is working on the yard at the mometnt and some of the bulbs from last year have been paved over of have big mounds of dirt and rubble on them.. bummer.. but its not a big deal.. I have hundreds of bulbs..
