One of the guys at work, lives with his parents on their sheep farm. I just ASSUMED that the sheep were wool sheep. you know, they get shown and then go back to play in the fields and then eventually get shawn again..

but NO!

They have little lambs that end up as peoples dinner. oohh.. that is so sad.. lamb chops..
I can't believe it.. oohh I feel all icky now.. I don't think I can eat lamb .. ooh

well I went to the

well I went to the gym.. i was planning on getting to the step class.. but there was combat on instead.. bummer.. so i stayed for that.. it was okay.. not as much jumping as i like but lots of upper arm stuff.. my poor arms will be so tired tomorrow.. oohh dear..

considering how tired i got with only a little jumping.. i son'e think i would have been able to make it through an entire step class.. oohh well ..

This whole wedding thing is

This whole wedding thing is rather scary..

There are all these things to do.. I am not sure what I should be doing..
I really miss my mum.. I'm sure this is the kind of thing I girl needs her mum to help with..

I need to organise a photographer and I haven't really been trying.
I think the main reason is that I won't have many family to take pictures of..

Phil has his parents, his brothers and both sets of grandparents..
I have my dad and my brother.. I don't actually have the greatest relationship with either of them..
They are just like any other family..

I get along really well with Phil's fam..
which is one of the reasons why he is so fabulous.. he likes to spend time with his relatives and they are all really supportive and friendly with each other (apart form one silly thing where some cousins weren't talking for about a year.. but I think that is all resolved).. its nice to have all these people around ...

I am really worried that I will get all upset that my mum and nana aren't there..
my mum passed away in 97 and my nan passed away this year - actually on the day of our engagement party. that was a huge success.. most of my relatives didn't come.. and well it wasn't the best of moods..
I really used to hate my nana.. she drove me crazy.. she was always telling me what to do and how to do it and it got to the point that I couldn't talk to her.. very sad.. i used to hang up on her.. it was all too much.. she was veyr unhappy about my mums death and always blaming people.. it was not a good time after my mums death.. the family was just horrible.. noone came to help.. Paul (her married my mum about 6 months before she died) supported us financiall yand eventually he had enough (mostly to do with my brother) and we sold the house and went our seperate ways..
well .. you wouldn't believe the way the relatives complained about that.. gee .. its not like they fed us, or housed us, or paid the bills, or even come to visit when my mum was sick, or came to help afterwares.. no.. accordig to the relo's and my nana Paul was evil.. oohh my gods he kept some of the furniture..i mean its not like it ws theirs anyway.. it was my mums..

well i think i will head off to the gym for a step class.. that will make me feel better.. jumping around is always fun..

Last night I did however find a way to fit in 3 alcoholic drinks.. yummy!

there was much excitement last night.. all the linen arrived form the linen party.. oohh warm delicious rug of mine..

Margy came over to help out with all the organising of a get together for the ladies before the wedding..
oohh she was so brave.. when faced with making decisions I often have the line of "I don't Know" ..
this can be very frustrating.. so anyway there is going to be a garden party for fun and then dinner for more fun and yummy food..

I am a little nervous about it all.. hhmm I guess we can just hang out and have a few drinkies..
hhmm I am not very brave..

I have re started my healthy eating today..

I have not eaten any chocolate.. and oohh.. my brain is hurting.. I think it takes about 3 days to get over the whole chocolate thing.. and then I can start behaving like a normal person.. hhmm what does that mean.. I don't know..
I did eat one suga lolly.. and I chose the biggest one.. they are spearmint flavour.. yummy..
so I am thinking that I can hold out long enough to get over the fabulous flavour and then hopefully I can be safe.. right at this moment I am thinking about the chocolate brownies.. oohh.. brownies.. I would love to make some and just eat and eat and eat .. till I had so much chocolate that I felt really sick.. but I know that is no good for me..

I have been reading on

I have been reading on the internet all the fabulous things we need to see when we are in New Zealand.
There is so many things to do and see.

one of the things is so go and see doubtful sounds.. you can do a cruise and kayak trip which I am thinking about..
I haven't kayaked before and it says no experience nesecarry.. but oohh.. it could be scary..

there is just a cruise on the lake a bit... which actually costs more than the kayaking as well..
so not sure.. but i think it would be much excitement.. hhmm 5 hours of kayaking but.. my arms might get tired..

will have to see once we get there.. oohh well.. i guess i should be a bit more adventurous..

oohh my garden is looking

oohh my garden is looking so fabulous.. I have more than 10 iris' blooming.. they look so beautiful.. there are jonquils as well.. there are also some ranunculi's but i think they only open the flowers in sunshine.. cos on saturday mornign they were all out looking nice and full, but in the afternoon whern it was all cloudy they were all closed up and small.. same things on sunday all small.. there are some other ones that I can't remember what they are.. theyhave red flowers.. kind of red orange.. the fresias are not out as yet.. hopefully soon..

I am so excited about

I am so excited about the rain.. i hope there is more and more and more..
it is a bit of a worry.. we are coming up to the end of winter and in stage 2 (out of 4 stages, 4 being the worst) of water restrictions.. we need more rain.. lots and lots of it.. especially over the water storage areas, and catchment areas..

I went on a nice

I went on a nice walk at lunch.. It was freezing! wind so cold, I couldn't sit on the bench and eat my sandwich. i had to get up after a few mins and walk around..
but it was nice.. outside in the fresh air.. it poured with rain not long after I got back to the building. hoorah!

I am getting bored.. I am supposed to be investigating about CLI and the IVR and how all the calls are transfered and what fields they have available. I can't find anything on it.. it just happens.. we have this nice product that does it all .. so basically I am getting bored reading documentation trying to find the real details.. which I can't seem to find..
I think I might just give u pa dn make a prototype.. much more fun.. hhmm I don't have the power to change fields on calls.. that is already done by the telephoney land.. hhmm might have to get some snacks.. that always helps me think..

I did some tupperware parties

I did some tupperware parties over the weekend.. and that was fine.. it was good fun...
the idea is that I date people from those parties to get more parties..
cos you know otherwise you run out and have no business..

anyway the point is that there are some people I don't want to do parties for, be them rude, scary or somethign else.. so I haven't been asking these people.. I just can't do it.. I have no desire to go to their house and give them free tupperware..

am i being mean.. as in am i pre judging people just from a couple hours exposure.. perhaps they are really nice and would be fabulous to have parties with.. hhmm that whole first impressions thing..

there was one lady who brought along all her kids.. three in total.. under 5 .. they were okay.. the littlest was 13 months.. he just wanted to play with all the stuff.. which is fine.. its tupperware.. it dosen't matter if it drops.. its not going to break.. i did take the cork screw off him.. that has a sharp pointy bit.. well the mother yelled at them all like you wouldn't believe.. I was worried for the kids.. poor things.. they are only kids, if you don't want them to play with stuff don't bring them along.. there was nothing wrong with the kids, they were really well behaved.. the way the mum yelled at them was just frightful.. at one stage she was screaming "don't be rude, you rude girl" I don't know who taught her manners.. but to me being rude is screaming at your kids when all they want is some attention from mum.. hhmm i am making her sound pretty scary.. she wasn't hugly scary.. it just worried me.. cos if she is screaming at them like taht when there are all these strangers around.. what is she like at home..

there was this other girl who was telling me that she puts all her tupperware in the micorwave, even the things you shouldn't. i said that you shouldn't, she said there's nothign wrong with it.. aarrhhh.. I just wanted to tear my hair out.. she is the kind of person that will return it later when its all warped and say she didn't put it into the microwave.. she also complained about the 2 weeks delivery.. that is just too soon.. the last tupperware party she went to had a 4 week delivery.. blah blah blah.. she still bought lots.. amazing..

the cat is still around.. it wakes us up in the middle of the night or starts again at 4 in the morning..

last night at about midnight while I was trying to get to sleep, the annoying meowing started again.. it was so loud.. we thought the cat had managed to get under the house again even though Phil and Hilton fixed it up.. so we were all alert, when the front light came on.. the cat was on the porch and had set off the sensor light.. oohh.. i open the curtains a bit to peer at it, but it was looking at me.. that evil cat..

so i put on the uggh boots and the dressing gown, ran around to the front door.. it was all locked.. had to get the key form Phil.. he banged his toe into the door stop.. (I really need to make sure I unlock all the dead locks when I come home.. we might get all trapped one day.)
and open the door.. but the cat was gone.. so off i go .. in the slippers and gown.. wandering around the front yard at midnight.. Phil went back to bed..

I came back in eventually after not finding the cat and took off the slippers, got into bed waiting for the cat to return.. next time I woke up, I was really hot and all tangled.. as I hadn't taken my gown off.. oohh.. another cranky night thanks to the cat..

I'm Melting! yesterday morning when

I'm Melting!

yesterday morning when Phil was getting ready for work, he went to turn on his bedside lamp (we have nice touch lamps).
well it went out and so did his alarm clock.. so he figured that he had burnt out the power board that has all his appliances plugged into it.. my lamp and clocked stayed on..

well he didn't really think much of it.. but last night i was waiting for dinner to cook so I thought I would have ice cream first as I wasn't going to have enough time for both later.. so i got out and ice cream on a stick.. I got out a plate because it is one of those ones that has bots of chocolate biscuit stuck all over the outside and when you unwrap it al the bits of biscuit go all over the place..

So.. i had the little plate ready and i unwrapped it and went to pick it up by the stick.. hhmm the stick came out some what covered by ice cream and the whole ice cream fell to the plate (Phew! there would have been tears if it had hit the floor).

so thats when we discovered that the fridge had been off all day.. i think i will have to throw a bunch of stuff out now.. cos you can't re freeze things once they have thawed.. might have to do that tonight .. it is rubbish night..

oohh much excitement at work

oohh much excitement at work today.. well not really but it was silly..

we have to do time sheets each week, and you book your time to certain code numbers depending what you are doing..
i got an email form my boss that said, please note the numbers have changed.. the rest of the email contained some info forwarded from another person that had details on the numbers, old and new..

anyway i looked at that, went to my timesheets and changed all those number to the corrosponding numbers using the email as a guide... i did this yesterday..

today my boss come over and asks what have I been doing to my time sheets.. i said i fixed them up like he asked..
well apparently he didn't actually ask.. but it was just an FYI message to tell me that this other person had gone and changed all the old ones over to the new ones.. well of course I had them gone and changed them back to the old ones.. dear me.. what a nuffa he is.. especially since 2 other people did exactly the same thing as me..

Pyramid schemes,

hhmm a number of people have been concerned about tupperware being a pyramid thing..
but it's not.. i am not hooked into a crazy cult thing..

I buy tupperware from the distrubitiors at the same price as everyone else including the people I recruit..
if I recruit someone i get a gift.. ie sheets, towels, cuttlery, new tupperware, whatever is on offer that month..

eventually if i recruit lots of people I can start a team of my own.. all the people that i recruited join my team (unless they have made a team for themselves)..
I would then have to look after the team, make sure they have everythign they need, and I would still maintain my own schedule of doing parties and selling.. tupperware would give me extra money each month that's based on how well the team is doing.. so if i have a small team to manage i get a small amount.. if the team is large i get a larger amount...

Thinking about my current team .. I am in a large team and the manager works really hard to keep track of us all and organise everythign that we do.. I would speak to her at least twice a week.. she does heaps of work and spends all her time on tupperware.. I really think she deserves to get all that extra money.. she is also expected as a manager to have a better schedule than the dealers.. any sales challenge or competition for gifts or trips will have a minimum requirement. the minimum for dealers is nearly always half of what teh managers have to achieve.. so to get all these extra benefits she still has to maintain her parties and sales.. its not easy..

basically I am finding that people think that i can just recieve a cheque each month for doing nothing..which is not the case.. i would have to work really hard to get the additional money..

at the moment I am thinking about becoming a manager.. they are trying to lure me in.. there are some trips available next year.. one to gold coast, stay at sheraton mirage for 4 days or the other to Fiji, outrigger resort for 6 days.. all totally paid for by tupperware.. now the minimum requirements for these are much more challenging.. but i have 7 months to do it.. i will just have to start planning .. to get to fiji you have to be a manager.. fair enough..

i am having such fun.. the people are so great.. the benefits are fabulous.. so far i have receievd gifts like a sheets set, cast iron baking tray, cast iron grill, various tupperware, small wedgewood plate and a bunch of other things..

i think the best bit about tupperware is .. the more you do the more you get... and thats what its all about.. you don't get moeny becasue someone else does well.. there is always a challenge on for sales and recruiting.. I can understand while they need to recruit more people.. because a lot of people start up just to do up their pantry, then fridge, then freezer, then the kids lunch boxes.. and then they stop donig it.. i think i am hooked.. i have met some fabulous people.. they are some of the kindest and caring people that i've met.. because to be in a job like this you have to have a good attitude.. people won't like you otherwise.. they won't buy tupperware from you and they won't date parties with you.. so eventually your business will dry up..

hhmm i think i had better stop now.. should be doing some work..

more news on Neil... apparently the hospital rang up the next day and said that they were just looking at his xrays again (as you do) and taht he needed to come back in because his foot is broken and has to get it set.. so like i'm thinking I hope they checked all his xrays..

Last night Neil, Rach's husband was in a car accident and they spent all night at the hospital..
he is okay.. from what i have heard nothing too major, shock and i guess lots of bruises etc..

It is a bit frightful.. Rach will be stressing I am sure.. they are settling on their new house on monday. and now no car... all wrapped around a tree..

oohh.. it really makes me think that the cat under the house isin't much to worry about..
yes the cat was back again last night.. we looked for ages to get it and i think it must have gone becaure we didn't hear it at all after the initial bit (we were all prepared to squirt it with the hose to get it out) so it must have got scared and ran off.. there were no noises this morning..

I was so cranky last night.. no-one would come and help.. the rspca will o nly come to get sick, injured stray animals or animals being neglcted or mistreated. the local council said it is not a roaming cat so they won't come.. and some animal help service that I called said that they wouldn't come cos it didn't need to be rescued, and that really the only thing to do is get a cage and trap it and then take it to the rspca.. i thought that at 11.30 at night that is might be a bit difficult to do that.. anyway i annoyed the neighbours and asked if they wanted to come get it but nup.. they didn't want a cat..

well this morning there was

well this morning there was big adventures!

Lets start with last night, as I was tryingt ot get to sleep I hear some noise. I wasn't sure exactly what it was but it was some kind of animal making noises.. I hadnd't heard it at all before.. the people next door have a dog.. I assumed it was their dog making whining type noises... so off I went to sleep..

This morning I awoke. After a few moments I heard this noise again.. like a whining but not really .. I couldn't decide.. it came a few more times.. i started to get all worried becasue it sounded like a trapped animal of some kind.. so I got up but on the uggh boots and the dressing gown and went outside to listen again to find where it was coming from.. it was still dark.. about 6 am.. i couldn't hear it.. I waited for a while so I went back inside..

I got back into bed and tried to go back to sleep.. a few minutes later there it was again.. so up I got and went investigating.. I wondered around outside listening for the noise again.. still nothing.. birds starting to wake up..

I went back inside.. I said to Phil that I can hear something like a trapped animal.. we didn't know what we should do.. anyway then there was more noises.. so Phil got up too and went investigationg around the yard to check everything.. I was getting very worried now, becasue the noise started to get quietier, like the animal was getting very tired..

I was gettign all worried and decided that if I can only hear the noise inside that there must be somthign stuck under the house.. I didn't know what to do.. While Phil was in the shower i called hi folks place to ask for some advice.. Hilton siad just leave the gate open and it will come out on its own..

so out i went to the otehr side to open the gate.. when i got there I realised that an entire section of the under boards still hadn't been put up so there was no point in opening the gate.. so i sat at the big hole and called under hte house.. i was shining the torch to have a look for what ever it was.. then I saw the eyes twinkling.. it was a CAT!... and it ws just sitting looking at me.. it was making soem more pathetic meow noises... it didn't move and just kept looking at me.. I caleld for it to come out.. but no.. it just sat.. I was very worried now.. becasue it wasn't moving.. it was still meowing and so i thought it was stuck..

so I ran inside and told phil.. he was going to get dressed and have a look.. so i went back to the hole and the cat had moved about 30 cms away.. and it didn't look stuck.. so that i got more upset cos it wouldn't come out..

more running around.. Phil suggested that cats are just stupid and do things like this all the time.. I didn't believe it.. cats aren't stupid.. they are really smart.. I was so worried because I just couldn't understand why it would stay under the house when it has seen the exit and new where it was.. I was all panicky that perhaps it had gone under ther and had kittens or somethign and didn't want to leave them..

anyway new plan now.. can of tuna on a plate.. mmm.. delicsious.. any cat would want some tuna.. so I calle dot the cat and looked with the torch.. I couldn't see it.. so I left the tuna and wnet inside.. Phil seemed to think that the cat wouldn't come with me looking at it.. so I went back outside and put the tuna ina spot that i could see from inside..

by this stage Phil was all ready to go to work and said that I should go to work and not worry about the cat.. I said that I wouldn't leave till i new the cat was safe so he was just about to go to work... when the cat came out for the tuna.. I yelled so loud with excitement that the cat got a big fright and didn't eat the tuna, but instead made a run for under the gate, across the road and over the neighbours fence..

Hoorah! the cat was safe.. oohh so many tears wasted over the cat..
I am going to go and visit that neighbour tonight to check if it was theor cat.. and make a suggestion that they keep it inside during the night.. phew! what a busy morning./

I rode on the train

I rode on the train today with my new neighbour.. in fact we drove to the station together.. I parked in the secret carpark.. and so she was rather delighted about that..

much easier going when you ahev someone to chat to on the train.. and she also has endo and is going to have a laperoscopy in about 2 weeks.. amazing.. she has had a few before.. golly I hope i don't get like that.. I only had a little bit..

that remins me I have to go and visit Miss Margy tonight and see how she is doing now that she has no appendix.. she wil lprobably be all hurty and hardly able to move.. I mean it was only yesterday afternoon that they took it out..

hhmm no laughing was the key.. oohh so hard..

so there was much crankiness

so there was much crankiness on my behalf last night because I was too tired to be doing things.. so I cam home from volleyball and Phil had been to get teh nivite guillitioned.. they are all beautifully chopped.. he is such a star!

so then there was the putting them all into envelopes and putting in the little cards.. and making sure the right name went into the right envelope.. oohh the strain.. and sealing the envelopes .. and putting on stamps.. oohhh much much much crankiness..3

so glad its a new day and I have had plenty of sleep..

so volleyball last night was

so volleyball last night was against those maniac guys who think they are hot stuff..

was very annoying..

also on a block one of the other guys was atempting blocking as well.. and gee I'm a bit shorter so his elbow came down onto my shoulder and ouchy!

it still hurts.. I am guessing the insides are planninga giant bruise soon.. it is all tender and when I move a certain way in pains.. how awful..

just as well i play non contact sports.. ha!

back to Narnia, I have

back to Narnia, I have read The magician's nephew, the lion the witch and the wardrobe, a horse and his boy and now i am into prince caspian.. I can't stop reading them.. I have been reading on the train .. at lunch.. in bed.. when I am suppsed to be doing work.. all these times..

when i start reading at book i have to finish it totally before i can do anythign else.. it is so hard..
I keep thinking about what is happening and wondering if caspian is ok and what will happen when peter, ed, lucy and susan get to their camp... golly.. i can't remember.. i need to keep reading..

I forgot to mention that

I forgot to mention that Margy has gone to hospital to have her appendix removed.. it should be happening at this very moment.. oohhh scary.. she had lots of pains, went home from work early yesterday.. then didn't improve.. and then went to the doctor and then to the hospital.. i rang the hospital today and got to speak to her.. I think she was a little worried, but her sister Kate was there.. she is a nurse and can look after her.. hoorah!

I might have to go visit tomorrow.. i don't know how long she will be at the hospital.. oohh dear..

it was Hiltons and Simons birthdays on friday night and so we went arounf to visit and give gifts and eat dinner.. I did get a bit cranky.. people are trying to organise our wedding.. it does annoy me so.. hheee.. i was just reading narnia and the language is so different..

then saturday! oohh what a day.. there was much excitement.. I had to get up early.. oohh i wasn't too tired.. but I should really eat before I go out.. anyway Sharon drove a bunch of us in her van.. it was really good.. we chatted and natted and had a great old time.. it was really handy for a new tupperware lass such as my self to have the teachings of a previous manager, a huge seller and a long time dealers.. you learn so much..

so off to the big adventure.. we parked the car and made our way into the hall.. there were tupperware cars everywhere in the car park.. it did look funny.. I was so excited.. we met up with the other gals adnd prepared for the day by getting out all the bells, maracas, castnets, whistles etc..

anyway lots of cheering and lots of standing and laughing and recieving presents.. the new double collander and the new bakig mat and the new freezer smarts and the new corkscrew.. there was also loads of recognition and presents for the managers and the high achievers.. well done to them all..

this morning i was so

this morning i was so excited I could barely do any work.. tomorrow I am going to the Tupperware August sessions.. I hav completed some of the challenges set so I will be recieving prizes.. I hope they are good prizes.. the new catalogue will be coming out soon so perhaps there will be new products that we get..

I am really enjoying the tupperware life.. I was the third top dealer in my team last month.. and I didn't even do much because of hospital.. so either i am just so ace (which is not the case) or the rest of the team is pretty slack.. I think there are a bumch of people in the team that have been in tupperware for a long time and just do a few thigns every so often.. no wonder they are alwasy looking for more people to be dealers..

I am also excited because our unti meeting was at the distributers (where we have sales meetings) and there was a huge stack of boxes that contains the gifts that we achieved a month or so ago.. I am getting a grill and a big baking dish.. they are le chasseur brand.. very nice.. not as good as le cruset (hhmm spelling) but still fabulous.. and at that great price of free!!

more food related items..

today I got in to work early. I came in about 8 am and normally come in about 9.20 am.. so a big difference.. and it made a huge difference to my hunger levels at 10 .30 which would normally have been 12 for me I was starving.. I had to eat biscuits with vegemite.. oohh delicious.. but then When it came to lunch time I was still hungry so I wenrt ot the cafe next door, got a sandwich (mulit grain bread, chicken, lettuce and carrot) want to sit outside and eat.

There is beautiful sunshine today.. I just love it my face was all warm and only when the sun go behind a few clouds did I feel a bit chilly..

There were all these birds following me .. well I was sitting down, so they came to me. this one sea gull kept making awk nauses all the time.. i told it to be quiet that it was ruining my peaceful lunch time but it didn't bother.. then a whole bunch of sparrows came along.. the sparrows have no fear.. i have seen them in the cafe.. they are so smart, when you are leaving sometimes there is a bird up on the sill above the door looking at you.. and as soon as you open the door it flies out.. i haven't ever seen them fly in only out.. still pretty smart..

oohh back to the story.. I got tired of eating my sandwich.. boring.. so I only ate half of it.. so i went on a wander to the idian take away place.. yummy.. got me some dahl mahkani.. yummy.. also got peppermint truffle bar and then wandered into the book shop..

I as having a look around.. it is always so quiet in the bookshop..i really don't think i could stand working there.. well i looked at all the kids books.. they have a huge range.. and i noticed the chronicles of Narnia.. well I remember reading all the Narnia books when I was younger so I gave in and purchased it.. considering there is like 6 books in one the price wasn't so bad.. I also wanderd around and found something for Phil.. he was complaining the other night that we had no good books.. we have plenty of good books, he has just read them too many times..

I was the first person

I was the first person to get to work this morning in my section. Hoorah!.. this means that I got to turn the lights on..
it was very exciting.

except one light right above my desk didn't come on.. then about ten mins later it came on.. strange..

so I am here.. and it is not very exciting.. but I will get to go home earlier..

well I just got back

well I just got back (a little while ago actually, been talking on the phone)from the big outing to the paper shop. I had to but paper for teh wedding invites.. and golly was it an adventure..

The guy in the shop was being very helpful and pulling out heaps of differnt blue kind of paper and some nice shimmery things and some white and creams to go with it all.. but every combination that he made looked boring and formal.

He kept creating thigns where there was 3 layers of paper, you know the each layer slightly smaller than the last so that it looks bordered.. blah blah blah.. I haven't done that since I was making posters for geography in about year 8!

so anyway I was there for a while...

There were some really pretty things that had kids stuff on it .. but I knew that I couldn't really have that.. so I settled for a light card (almost paper) in a shimmery light blue.
so i am not sure how i want to chop it up.. might have to stick fun things on to it as well..

when I went to purchsae the paper, I got another guy and he said that the paper was really trendy at the moment and he wouldn't hold it against me.. what a spaz!

also there was all these insane people coming in to place orders etc..

one girl came in and said.. "We have finally decided on the invitations for our engagement" then she was all upset cos she had forgot to bring in all the samples and wasn't sure which one it was.. then she found it and ordered 80 peices and 80 envelopes!! okay think about it that most invite will go to a couple and some even to famlies! amazing.. some people have too much money to waste.

then ther was another lady and she was making invites for her sons first birthday.. she looked about 40 as well. such a worry and she was making all these formal layered invites as well.. she wasn't going to glue her but secure them with a nappy pin!

she didn't seem to be as extravagent as the engagement lady.. but she also didn't look like she had a 1 year old.. what is happening to the world..

so that was it.. big journey.. missed trains and walking in between.. some people seem to go to extraordanry lengths to make their wedding day special.
I feel that as long as all the people we love are there to share the day with us it really dosen't matter how many layers the invite is, or what colour dress I wear or how many tiara's I can stack on my head.. I am planning on having a great fun day and the less I worry about things now the better I will feel.

The only thing I really worry about is the actual ceremony where everyone will be looking at us and we will have to say loads of things.. and I mean I was petrified at Rach's wedding and I was only the bridesmaid.. I nearly had a panic attack walking down the aisle then.. I think there will be no walking down no aisle.. considering there is no aisle that should be easy..

hhmm what kind of entrance shall I make.. Should Phil and I be there greeting people.. should we emerge from the bushes.. should we be hiding inside and only come out at the lst minute.. oohh my gods.. that is what I am scared about.. having to make a grand appearance..

oohh well 8 weeks to go .. I can come up with a plan..

hey people in melbourne.. this morning at about 9.30 ish.. not sure what time exactly.. I didn'at really pay too much attention at the time.. but anyway the power sort of went in waves and the lights dimmed a few times and then came back to regular brightness..

well anyway everyone at work went.. oohh .. ahha.. perhaps the building is falilng down..
(there is a buildig under construction next to us and sometimes the floor shakes when they are doing big stuff)
but, then a while later I got an email from Phil asking If i had a strange dimming of lights.. and I was like YES! cos apparently he was on the phone to his mum (she works in Kew) and the same thing happened to both of them as well..

what is the opposite of a power surge.. a power reduction.. hhmm it was only for like 10 secs or so.. but to have people 20 km's away notice it as well it kind of scary.

My friend Rach has started

My friend Rach has started her own blog as well. she has one entry.. it is very exciting.. I also got her hooked on neopets.. Katia got me hooked on that.. so again Katia has started something that is moving in a chain reaction.

I don't get an oppurtunity to play neopets as much as like.. it is hard to find the time.. also they appera to have done something to their games so that now I can't play heaps of them. it tries to download soemthign and can't do it.. i think it is a flash thing.. but it really annoys me because i can't get it to go at work or at home.. I really miss destructomatch and that petpet catcher one.. and some other.. I have to play cell block .. and solitaire.. boring..

last night I made some

last night I made some potatoes
they were yummy. I put too much garlic on them and then went sort of sweet.
I am sure garlic is not meant to be sweet. perhaps is was all the onions.. of the sesame seeds, or the rosemary.. it definately wasn't the cheese..

still I ate lots and then felt a bit too full.

i just ate an apple.. i think a chocolate bar would be a bad idea at this time.. but i do so love them.. and i haven't eaten any this week.. i did have brownies yesterday.. i had 2 bits.. but that was because i made them and they were so yummy..

I am on a crazy

I am on a crazy mail list that consists of a large number of older ladies.. ie 60 plus.. anyway one of them sent an email that said.. try this..

what you have to do is, siting move your right leg in clock wise circles,
then with your hand draw the number 6 in the air.
try to keep your foot going clock wise..

it dosen't seem to work..
as soon as you start on the loop in the 6 (which goes the other way) your foot just copies and goes anti clockwise..

I really thought I was smart before and that I could keep my foot going clock wise.. but then when I looked down, it was going the wrong way.. I just didn't stop moving it..

most of the ladies wrote back all amazed that they couldn't do it either..
so what does this mean ?? are we all freaks???

oohh I also have to thank Mr Phil who looked after the baking brownies last night while I went off to volleyball.. Hoorah! for Phil..

and also a big thank for not eating all the goodies I made.. I had better not tell you that there were some left overs that will be eaten by people that didn't give cans or money..
oohh well.. mostly it is the over done honey joys. they were kind of crunchy..

so morning tea is over

so morning tea is over and i think everyone is full of goodness..

last night I made choc brownies, honey joys, fruit loaf, pizza pin wheels and mini quiches.
so it was a big hit today.. Wendy brought some choc cookies and Edward made some mini pancake things with a filling.. and Ludmilla whom I don't know very well brought some biscuits, cheese and dried apricots..

lost of people brought cans along and I have about 30.. i think.. and I raised $42 and some change to go shopping with today to buy more cans.. so it was a very succesful time.. I love morning teas.. much more exciting than work..

oohh well I forgot to

oohh well I forgot to mention that the morning tea is a birng a can morning tea.. to you know gather cans to donate to the winter care appeal.. at the moment after 2 weeks of the donation box haninging around there are about 6 cans..

so I am going to lure wpeople to a morning tea, then demand money and then take it to the supermarket and buy many lovely cans to donate.. hoorah!

so what on the menu you ask?
well I am thinking there isin't much time cos it's in 2 days..

well the weekend is all

well the weekend is all over and we are well into the week. you know monday afternoon and you have already forgotton the fun and excitement you just had on the weekend..

well today I made posters for a morning tea I am organising.. on my floor only about 1/3 of the people belong to my group, there is 2 other groups that we share with.. so I had to make a big email.. with lots of pretty colour fonts and send it to all their bosses.. hopefully they pass it along.. so to also give more encouragement I have put uyp 20 signs on the floor.. all over the place.. I had to venture into the unknown territory on the other side of the floor to put soem up..scary.. but I made it out alive.. hehehee... it really wan't a hard mission.

I am all excited today.. not sure why.. but things are happening.. and well we are BBQing for lunch.. wahoo! that is always fun..

we have a balcony on our floor and our group has a bbq.. we have lunchtime barbies every so often.. this will proabably be the last one as we will be moving buildings soon. so sad.. not many office buildings have balcony's that the staff are allowed to use..

oohh well .. just think I will be closer to the shops.. oohh sales.. and shoes and hair clips..
I just love shopping..
