hhmm not too much is happening.. i have packed up all my things.. I have finalised all my work and handed it over ot people.. and I have eaten many goodies and drank many waters.. hhmm I have fille din my time sheets and checked my mail. what else is there?

The morning tea was just on . .there was fairy bread, tim tams, danish's, steam pork buns, choc brownies (Its because of them that I feel so sick), choc cup cakes, fairy cakes, party pies, sausage rolls, rocky road, fruit loaf, orange cake, coffee, meringues with cream and biscuits.. oohh there is so much left over.. but it was great excitement.. also I got a present. oohh too many things in my tummy

we are going to stay

we are going to stay at the wedding place on friday night as well.. It should be great fun.. cos lots of other people are going to stay as well.. It will be Ya's birthday and we can celebrate with food and cake and many more goodies..

Rach and Jo will also be staying.. lovely.. we can then do extra fun things on saturday morning like hair and makeup and lollies.. perhaps even icecreams.. hhmm there is still lots to do .. I hope we are all organised.. oohh dear..

on saturday I went to the beauty parlour to get all waxed up.. I also had a nice relaxing facial.. it was lovely.. just what everyone needs a nice head massage.. ahah..

anyway I am getting them to do my make up on the wedding day.. and the girl that was serving me (hhmm is that what you say, doesn't sound right) asked what I was doing about my make up.. I told her I was comign here to get it done. so she looked up to see who was doing it.. Kate will be donig my make up.. and she was on the other side of teh room and came runing over to talk to me about it.. she is very excited.. She is a friend of Phil's, she's a singer and Phil has played piano for her at stuff and they had the same music teacher.. so I know her a little bit.. anyway she is so excited about it all.. and I haev to go in early to discuss what I want done and she is going to bring in some pictures of what I can have and all that sort of thing.. so I am glad that she is enthuastic about it all.. hoorah! hopefully she will make me look beautiful..

people keep asking me stuff that I don't know the answers to.. like what time should the band arrive.. well I don't know.. what time do they arrive at other functions.. I am assuming they need to set thigns up and I dont' know how long that takes and waht do they like to do.. i have no idea.. I have never been in a band or organsied one before.. I really think Phil could make a decision on this one..

yesterday Phil gave me a big list from the photographer chicky that had to be filled in.. and he hadn't filled in anything.. so I filled thigns in sent it back and told him that whe could of answered most of that stuff on his own.. he said that he could have filled it in.. he just wanted me to be included.. but he hadn't done it .. so I did it .. cos thats what i thought we had to do.. ggrr.. it is making me very cranky.. i really think he can start making some decisions.. we know what time the things starts cos we had to invite people .. it says on the invite 3.30

all I want is we show up get married and have a party .. not too hard.. you would think.. but no.. there has to be time for photographs and stuff.. well i think that can be straight after the cermeony.. and then we can have food and drinks straight away as well.. we can also have some activites.. like hhmm i don't know..

then after we have all eaten too much we can have dessert.. cos you can always fit dessert in.. then after taht we can go home.. done.. whay do we haev to have an exact time for starting food.. that was waht I wanted to avoid.. I didn't want a formal organised thing where at a set time you ahd to stop what you were doing and eat food, or dance or whatever it might be..

I just want to show up and have fun.. and not have to worry cos i told the whoever that at 6 pm we would run naked through the forest and now we are half and hour behind schedule because we didn't start at exactly 3.30 but at 3.47 and now all the day is thrown out by 17 mins..

I am going to tell everybody to show up for a 3.30 start.. so there..

I am trying to decide waht sport to go in.. the last couple of years I played volleyball..
i think this year I might try netball.. some of the guys here are going to play as well.. we need some more girls..
I guess if we can't get a team together I can just go back to volleyball.. they are always looking for girls ..

hhmm now that I have said that .. I don't actually dirnk hot water.. or tea.. or cofee.. just cool water..

when I was little I couldn't drink soft drinks.. the bubbles would make me feel sick.. and I would spit it out.. gross..
I didn't start drinking soft drinks till i was 18.. cos thats when I started drinking alcohol.. so you needed mixers..
I still only have a limited number of soft drinks.. in fact only raspberyy and lemonade.. and not fancy lemonade.. just plain..

so I am not too adventurous.. but at least its better than drinking litres of that coka every day.. eeww.. or diet stuff full of chemicals. blah!

I went to the photo place yesterday and dropped off 4 films.. I am a tad slack when it comes to doing things like take in films to be developed..
so i picked them up today .. there is Rach's wedding, the corporate games last year, Sue and Gary's wedding 25th wedding anniversary, Phils grandparent 50th wedding anniversary.. and a visit to the weribee zoo and my birthday at the melbourne zoo and some shots of the grimmers farm and hhmm i can't remember what else.. oohh well

I can't do it.. yuck... so there was some kind of fake tomatoes in the things.. they had funny seeds on them.. also I still have a cold and so the taste buds are not up to their usual job and well it was kind of a gross texture.. at least the potatoes were covered in garlic.. I could tast that.

i made some appointments today at the beauty parlour!
I was a bit embarressed, so I went ans got a meeting room to make the calls .. cos I didn't want the people (all boys or men I suppose.. not many boys at work.. ) to hear what I was doing.. so I am all set.. There is gong to be a whole bunch of waxing and skin treatments on saturday and they are going to do teh make up on the day of the wedding.. so i think I have got it all organised.. hhmm what might have to arrange a pedicure and a manicure.. oohh toes are so ugly.. eewwrr.. I hate toes.. especially at the end of winter when they have liv3ed in shoes and socks for months.. at least in summer they get out and about in the sunshine.. sometime syou even take them to the beach and they can play in the sand ..

I got a hair cut

I got a hair cut on saturday morning.. there is also new pretty colours .. oouuhh.. nice..

anyawy the appointment was for 9.30 am.. which I thought was a hard time to do.. so I got up.. walked around to the place.. which is only 2 mins walk to the shopping strip.. got there and some guy is donig some ladies hair.. he says that Simone is running late and she will be a litle while.. so just as I am about to sit down I ask how long is a while.. apparently 20 mins.. so Off I go home again.. I got to do some folding and organinsing and change my outfit.. it really was a warm day..

but anyway I called before I went back.. she still wasn't there.. so I asked them to call me back when she got in.. well after all this I didn't go back till 10.30.. ahahah I could have had an extra hour sleep in.. which considering how many blue beverages I had drunk the night before, an hour really would have come in handy..

but its all okay now.. I have a beautiful chop.. with some nice new layers.. and colour all over and somenice new stripy gold bits. oohh I am trendy.. I also made an appointment for a 'do' for the day of the wedding.. I hope she remembers to come to work..

mmm.. I was reading Katia's

mmm.. I was reading Katia's blog today . .there was mention of shoes.. oohh yummy shoes.. well on the weekend just past I got 3 pairs of shoes.. 2 pairs are for the wedding..
I just couldn't decide which ones I wanted the most..

It was very exciting as well because I have size 11 feet.. for a girl thats kind of big.. but anyway when I was trying on the size 11's something amazing happened.. they were too big.. and I had to ask for a smaller size! It was so exciting.. so now i have some nice shoes that fit and are pretty and well hoorah! it was too good..

I also went to the

I also went to the gym at lunch.. I went to a step class.. I love step.. the instructor is really fabulous as well.. she makes sure youa re donig things right and will come to help when needed.. she always does proper stretching at the end.. some of those pump and combat classes don't do that.. also there is no sit ups or push ups or crap like that..

oohh .. I am pretty

oohh .. I am pretty excited.. I though I had some horrible task to do.. and then I thought about mail merge.. and now I have done all the horrible work adn told others about the wonders of mail merge..

I had to create 120 ish sql insert statements, where 2 of the fields I had unique values, and everythign else was the same per record.. so i made a data document with all the data in a nice table.. then i made the insert statment in another document, put the fields into hte right spots, pressed the merge button.. and voila! well there was a little bit more in the middle with choosing files, selecting the right fields ... but hoorah! much better plan.. one of them was really big and the document ended up beoing over 500 pages.. so I copied it into a better editor.. but I am feeling all lovely now..

I am having trouble doing

I am having trouble doing work lately.. I am just not motivated to do things.. There is so much else I could be doing.. I really want to do some gardening.. and go on walks and do some cleaning.. I never really get the chance to clean.. well not so much the chance.. but I don't want to spend any of my free time cleaning, when I could be doing better or more exciting things.. cleaning makes me cranky when I have other things to do..

perhaps I shoudl set aside some time .. There is heaps of gardening I want to do as well.. I need to plant the lemon and lime trees.. and design the garden.. and work over the garden beds, as they are a mess of roots and the soil is all yuck.. I need to tidy up the spare room.. there is mess everywhere.. too many things not enough space.. I also want to fix the wardrobe in our bedroom.. it is kind of full of junk cos there is stupid space.. it is not properly structured.. bummer.. i am going to be cranky for a while..

one of the contractor guys just went past.. he used to wear casual all the time.. then he went away.. he just recently came back and has been wearing suits and ties all the time.. well today he is wearing jeans and a long sleeved tshirt, so I called out and said where's your tie today.. he stopped turned around and said "Don't you know, Its casual Wednesday"

we were wandering up mailing road and we saw a jeweller.. so we looke din the window.. and decided to go in.. well .. I am gettinga nice plain wedding band.. Phil is getting a stripy white/yellow gold band, I am getting the band on my mum's engagement ring fixed, then my engagement ring is getting shined up and Sabine is getting her engagement ring re worked to that it dosen't get caught on everything..

we were chatting ot the people there.. The jeweller was really good and helpful and he has a nice young apprentice.. so she is learning all the tricks of the trade...
just as we were about to leave the jeweller asks us where we heard about them.. (ie yellow pages, bridal ads, etc) and we said.. oohh no.. we were just walking past and decided to come in.. They gave us this funny look.. like we were a tad crazy.. cos all up we spent just under $2000.. so I am guessing they were pretty happy to have us just walk in off the street..

I am very excited about it now.. cos i had been looking at rings and some were just so expensive and butt ugly.. so we are getting yummy ones.. hoorah!

then we went to a chocoalte place that is pretty much a wholesaler.. but they have cheap chocolate.. when I say cheap in mean in price only.. all the good chocolate is here.. it just costs loads less.. like the peppermint truffle bar that i get at the lolly shop near work costs $1.80 BUT wat this fabulous place they only cost $0.60 so that is a huge difference...

also the duc dor truffles for a box of 20 is like $8.. instead of like $20.. oohh I got so many things.. and orange sticks .. yeah orange sticks..

I have been meaning to

on friday night I purchased wedding underwear.. cos the dress fitting was coming up and you need to have the proper underware... other wise your chest can end up in the wrong spot.. not a good look..

so that was kind of fun.. I just kept trying on hundreds of strapless numbers till I found one.. not very exciting but hoorah cos its done..

so onto saturday ..

got up early and went to the beauticians.. or somthing like that .. and got the underarms waxed! ouch! but anyway they are all nice now.. They were tender for like 2 days.. thats somthign good to know.. but hoorah for hair free... I have been thinking about going and getting other bits of me waxed (NO Brazillian!) and thought I might as well start with the bit that will hurt the most.. that way everyhtign else will be fine.. yes fine..

it reminded me about this show I saw the other day. There is a family somewhere in the UK that had sixtuplets (hhmm spelling) all girls.. they are like 18 now..

amazing.. Imagine giving birth to six kids in one go.. then imagine having to take them home and feed and bath and change them.. and watching after 6 toddlers running around the place.. or buying all those new outfits.. and fittting all those pushers into the car..
scary.. really scary.. Imagine the size of the mothers belly when she was pregnant.. ooh.. I wonder if she was able to balance..

The silly machine filled up.. so now I am tarring, compressing, deleting and ftping..
so then I can go to the other machine and do exactly the same thing.. and then also copy a non broken version back to the first machine.. this all came about becasue someone couldn't find something in a report, so i said i would maka new report.. and I couldn't cos the machine was full.. so I arfchived stuff off.. tried again.. it still didn't work.. so then i went to the other rmachine to get a non brokedn copy.. and it was full.. ooh hthe viscious cycles of putting work off cos you can't be bothered.. (I have a sticky note on my monitor that says.. need to fix - cos its full)
