Claire has a big girls bed now

we went on a shopping trip to ikea yesterday and got a yummy day bed thingsy.. it came home got unpacked, the cot dismantled and then oops there are some bits missing.. ie the frame that holds the slats and the mattress.. bummer

so Claire spent the night in her new bed.. as in just the mattress on the floor and all her new manchester.. she seems really excited about it.. we will just have to see how well behaved sh eis in regards to staying in the bed..

she is supposed to be snoozing at the moment but keeps coming out to ask for hugs.. the last couple of weeks

*** she just came out and has her pants back on but they are on backwards.. she was wanting help to put her socks on ..

so over the last couple of weeks it has been getting harder to get her to have snoozes during the day.. on saturday she spent 2 lots of 1 hour in her cot not sleeping, but jumping, singing and generally flailing about.. so not sure what is happening now.. on sunday she went for a snooze fine.. she keeps telling us its play time..

more tupperware

I went to another tupperware party tonight... there is only about 2 things that I don;t have.. well no not really but i do have lots of things.. i ordered a chopper thingy... i am very excited about it.. hoorah! IT CAN ALSO BE USED AS A SALAD SPINNER.. damn caps lock.. i really need to watch what I am typing and not just look at the telly..

I guess you could say that stuff is happening.. not sure what.. but you know..

baby business seems to be going along just fine.. I haev the sugar diabetes test in the morning so I will have to fast.. i think I can do that.. I will get Philby to drop me off at the place after we drop off Claire at day care.. i had better take a book to read.. In the afternoon I am going to drop Elissa off at the hospital for her RHS -ve shots.. she has negatve blood.. they goive you shots to help the baby and you out.. a sharp day for everyone..

today the trainee midwife meghan came along to chat.. gee whizz I talk lots.. some of it was even pregnancy, birth related... I keep changing my mind about having an epidural.. not sure... there are pros and cons..

oohh we also picked up the curtain fabric for Claire's new bedroom today.. we then went off to the paint store and chose colours.. very exciting not.. the colour we chose it lieka green, yellow, brown and it is so pale that it almost looks white.. oohh well.. i'm sure she will like it.. in fact she probably won't even notice..

hhmm decorating is so hard.. there are so many colours to choose from.. also fabric is so hard to choose.. so much of it is rather ugly.. but at least Claire's room will be nice and sedate looking, meaning she shoudln't get all excited and miss out on sleep..
