hhmm i thinks i needs me some of those yummy drnkies i put into the fridge.. also i am thinking i had better turn my mobile off tonight as I did wake Katia this morning at 2 am.. hee heeh hee.. what a naughty munchkin i am.. especially considering that her birthday was yesterday.. happy birthday darlink..

playgrounds

I wanted to go to a playground a while ago and its really hard to find ones that are good.. sounds silly i know considering there are plaaygrounds like in every couple blocks.. but some are hot, scary, for older kids, have no toilets, all kinds of things..

so i thinkg i wam going to open up a playground blog.. i will go to playgrounds and then take some pictures and do a review.. i was planning on just photocoying the street directory and going to all the playgrounds on my page and then spread out... i think i might do it ..

however, the philby made my blog thingy ad even thought I am a computer nerd I have no idea whats going on.. so i will have to get him to make me a new one..

i think i also need to have a proper survey so that you can compare reviews easily,, hhmm what needs to go on his list..

big girl...

Claire can reach the light switches in the hall and kitchen/lounge .. so she can now go into the hall when 'its a bit to dark for me in the hall'

she can also make her way out to the lounge in the morning and turn the lights and telly on.. so good.. we can stay in bed till she gets hungry,...

oohh I just realised she can open the fridge now too.. she likes to choose the picture on the yoghurt..
I only worked out the other day that she could open the fridge when I was aking her breakfast .. I had got a bowl and was adding some weetbix and she was fluffing about in the kitchen so to distract her I said go and get th emilk out of the fridge... then I realised that she had got the milk out and was taking the lid off as she wandered about the lounge room.. oohh dear.. i really should watch out what I say..

the koala.. a marsupial..

In kids programs on ahte telly they often talk about the koala bear.. it is really annoying... I guess because most of the programs are not australian ... it reall annoys me.. poor Claire is going to think the koala is a bear.. there is one program called litle einsteins and they say it heaps ...

I did a look on ask.com to see what kind of animal is a koala and got some interesting results.. one of the atopmost entries tells me that a koala is not actually a bear but a mammal.. wowee.. a bear is also a mammal so no idea what that is supposed to be.. as far as I am concerned a koala is a marsupial.. that meaning that they give birth to live young and feed them milk like a mammal but they have the exception that they keep their young in a pouch...

hhmm I wonder if a panda is a bear?? hhmm it appears that the giant panda and the red panda are related and are bears.. hhmm .. ooh well..

Felicity update

well the littel munchkin is having a fabulous time.. she has the second bottom tooth.. i think it came about 1-3 weeks after the frirst one.. so thats about it.. there are more in there and they will be coming out soon.. she will be needing them to eat all the yummy things we have on the list .. at the moment she is mainly eating avocado, broccoli, banana, watermelon, cantelope, sweet potato, carrot and pumpkin... she basically get 2-3 meals a day and still has 4 drinks of milk.. she has also tried some of those rusk things that a like rocks but slowly dissolve with drool into a squishy gunk.. lovely..

rolling rolling all over the place like a crazy person in fact.. it is so nice.. she can twist and pivot, so she is basically making her way all over the floor.. she really likes to eat Claire.. and whn Clare runs over ans puts her head up really close ans laughs Felicity giggles.. I hope they are great friends in years to come..

Yesterday and today I have seen Felicity trying to raise up onto her knees.. oohh dear.. she will be crawling in no time then.. Samantha is crawling and almost walking.. she is 9 months and Felicty is 7 months.. poor Elissa.. they have fenced off half the house.. but soon Felicity will be able to chase samantha around and pull her hair instead of Caire and I ...

lots of nice stories about Claire

There are some lovely things about Claire getting teeth, standing, walking and making fun noises.. so i think I can probaby make up some of the baby book from this thing.. hhmm I think I will have to make them a nce book them.. oohh I wonder what I am supposed to put into it..

when I was prgnant with Claire I got a couple dodgy baby book things and I gave them away cos I thought it was stupid.. now who's stupid..

yes i think she is neglected

okay so there was a entry clled Claire update and it had all sorts of interesting things in it.. like how she was rolling around and she has a mark on her left thumb which is apparently a birth mark, and may fade.. oohh dear this seems to have faded.. i mentioned taking pictures of it just in case, but bummer I son;t think I did..

the second child misses out

apparently Felicity is missing out already.. as in we aren't taking enought photos of her, she has hand me down clothes, I didn;t make a baby book for her.. well let the truth be known there is no baby book of Claire and she is currently wearing a multitude of hand me downs.. hhmm i think perhaps this blog thingy might have captured some of the details.. i will have to have a search through and see.. be back soon..

oohh yes and roly poly

she has started to roll all over the place.. mainly to get to claire, who always has very exciting coloured socks.. so now she bumps into the coffeee table, the couch and the cupboard.. she seems to be enjoyong herself.. she used to roll before but preferred her back.. so as soon as she got what she wanted she rolled over to her back.. I had a thoery that she liked her back best because she could see Claire coming.. who knows I'd be scared if she came and sat on me and i wsa that little..

a tooth.. the first..

The first tooth came out of a coiuple weeks ago now.. hhmm.. I hink I am supposed to be maring these things on the calender or something.. ohh well.. it is the bottom front left.. very exciting.. witht the prospect of m ore teeth coming i made sure we had plenty of baby paracetamol and bonjela (some kind of numbing gel to put on the gums.. bloody marvellous) I haven't had to use them as yet... but the day will come.. I still have memories of an outing with Carolyn and Rach to the St Andrews market and having to stop off o n the way back home to purchase the above remedies.. and then later on in the car on the freeway Claire crying so much that she threw up.. I had to stop on the freeway and get out all the concotions again.. terrible..

so with the adventure of teeth and growing older comes the challenge of solids! Felicity has so far had rice cereal, banana, potato, pumpkin and broccoli.. she seems to not like banana.. whenever I try to feed her banana she shuts her much up and clenches her gums like she did when I try to feed her medicine.. so out came the broccoli and that was just gobbled up.. who would have thought.. its very exciting..
