busy busy
well .. this week what happened.. Stephanie had 3rd birthday party.. i made Claire and her both faerie costumes... not too bad for like less than a week's work.. we went to playgroup.. we went to more playgroup, we went to Lilydale lake and played with our friends, we went to the zoo and had a great time again.. so i am a little dazed.. as always..
hhmm.. i will work out how to put some pictures in.. oh also there was a little incident of Claire pushing Stephanie off a rock.. oohh the rock was like 1 metre off the ground.. hhmm ..
I went in the ocean
Well if you know me well you might be surprised to hear that I actually went on 2 boat trips to swim with the fishies.. on the first one the girls came and it was a bit over whelming as small children on a boat was kind of freaky.. but i spent 30 mins swimming with the fishies while the girls were in the child minding.. it was lovely.. we saw some fabulous fish and lots of coral ... I relented and let Claire don a wet suit and a life vest and go into the kids pool/cage thing off the side of the pontoon.. it was lovely.. she splashed about with Phil.. she had snorkel and goggles and flippers.. very exciting moment for a little girl...
the next time we went on a smaller boat and journey to a reef off the edge of an island.. we actually had to jump off the back of the boat and just swim out to somewhere and look for fish.. The girls spent the day in child care for this one. i was much more relaxed as i didn;t have to worry about them.. so off we went .. I get getting water in my goggles and had a mild freak out a couple times.. once the coral was touching me.. and another time i can;t remember what but it was something like the coral was about to touch me and i couldn;t see it.. and i was freaking out and then at one time i couldn;t find Phil.. he was behind me of course and hhmm well i was okay after a few mins.. but over all it was hugely succesful.. perhaps i will be going in the ocean lots from now on..

been on holidays! Awesome
We had a most delicious time up in Hamilton Island... I think that everyone should go and see the place and the fishies up there.. oohh but unless you like boats don't go now cos its race week. anyway we swam at the delicious beach and in the delicious pool and made sandcastles and dug holes and went out on boats to see the beautiful fishies and i did have a little freak out about bumping into the coral and athen we ate some more yummy things and played cards and were basically tired a lot of the time from having so much fun.. it was ace.. it was so sad to come home.. oohh well..
Claire had a great time as there was all sorts of fun water activities..she also did a lovely vomit on the way home from the great barrier reef... oohh dear.. just as well Grandma was holding her.. i only got vomit on my foot.. She also loved walking out to the beach in low tide to see the hermit crabs and the snails.. after a while there was a bit of fear about the snails.. but we had to explain that they are only going to tickle her..
