Lots happened this week, but not really!

So the working week is about to start again and I am thinking to myself that I have not really done that much.

There was the excitement of the trains not running out of the city for my line one evening and me having to catch a tram for an hour to like ooh half way on the train line.. and then get a train home to arrive like oohh about 7.15 when I had left work at 5pm..But as I have been telling people I would much rather spent 2 hours on a tram than be the person that doesn't get home at all.

hhmm then Philby and I spent an evening when we had no small children and were able to have the Telly up loud and drink many beverages and have a sleep in. It was lovely. I ate many ice creams and drank much vodka and stayed up late.. I am such an old lady.

I visited a friend yesterday and the kids had a great time jumping on the trampoline, dressing up as princess doctors and my girls were terrified of the tiny bitsy puppy and the kitty cat.. but we ate lunch, chatted to my friend.. i realise that I do talk lots and i don;t really listen and I never really ask that many questions.. i think i have to listen more..

oohh Philby got a real job.. as in one that pays money and he has to go to every day. I am so excited,, i think i might quit my job . hee hee hee.. i think Philby might get cranky.

it was so exciting.. we were going on the train together on friday.. amazing.. he looks so fabulous in his spiffy suit.

I can't even think what else I did this week. I did miss volleyball oops.. it was a bit sad.. i can play again next week..

washing has taken over our lounge

I think the washing is spreading all over the place.. there are 3 baskets full of washing 3 drying racks full of washing, 2 couches covered in folded washing and baskets, plus the chair stacked with folded towels and bibs and washers.not too mention the piles of washing in the bathroom and the laundry and the dangling washing in the laundry...

oohh dear.. if only the elves would come in the middle of the night and complete such tasks..

I would so totally make the elves some new clothes.. i have the princess patterns now.

la la la

I have been working very very hard.. ooh yes.. it is very exciting.. I have been talking and riding the rails and typing and going to DJ's to buy yummy pastrami and roast potatoes... oohhh roast potatoes.. I ate so many yesterday that I did feel a bit ill..

hhmm i think i need a nap from all this hard work..

OOHH dear..

am rather a bad typer.. I like to go fast and well I keep typing things along the line of "If you are still experiencing this problem" well the problem is that I keep typing arse instead of are.. hhmm it is the one thing I am not willing to let go.. I am always going back to fix it...

I think it might be nice it i calm down a little with the typing.. but I really am a fast girl..

There are some people at work who are really into using the mouse.. oohh dear.. i just love all the shortcut keys.. Ctrl-v and shift-ins and Alt f s and all that jazz..

I also like to use the number pad off to the side on the keyboard.. where as there are some people that turn numlock off and use the . as a delete.. weird!

also they turn the caps lock on to type capitals and then turn it off.. so strange.. no use of shift.. I guess it takes all sorts.. they even go to edit copy (with the mouse of course) instead of pressing the little button on the toolbar..

I guess its an age thing.. we learnt how to touch type at school and they didn't even have computers.. I wish all applications had hot keys.. there are some apps that I am forced to use the mouse.. it is rather annoying.. especially when you have to do typing as well..

Mums taking us to the zoo tomorrow.

Well actually we went to the zoo today.

It was pretty good. We were there about 9.30 am and there was hardly anyone around. Fabulous.. it was nice and cool, and so many animals that we normally see (or can;t see) sleeping were moving around the place. We saw otters prancing.swimming and having a fabulous time. There were lots of turtles and tort ices in the reptile house zooming around the place.

Felicity wander around a lot and then got a bit tired.. it was hard work.. we tried to have a picnic and Claire freaked out about the birds that came right up to her. Rightly so after the last time we were there and a peacock was about to eat all the kids.. and that was scary from the time before at Healsville when the Ibis bit her...ooohh dear.. we really don;t have much luck with the birds..

so we saw lots of things.. we should have seen the lions first, as we went last and they were all sleeping hiding really far at the back. I think they might have been more exciting in the morning.

We also went past the Meerkats in the middle of a Keeper talk.. it was very exciting.. They were eating little worm things.. Claire told me all about how they chased their food and ate it up.. and hey were little worms that wiggled like this (and she did some wiggling actions.)

At the moment Felicity is sitting in the coffee table drawer. hhmm.. perhaps thats the easiest way to get all the toys..

Its the weekend.

I think we need to have some adventures..

I am planning on going somewhere fun tomorrow.. but its going to be 32 degrees... hhmm that might be a bit too hot..

This morning while I was on the train platform at like 7.25 am I decided to call Margy.. She was awake and getting ready for work. In fact she was mightily amazed that I was out of the house... IT is mighty surprising..

well she is going to come play wth me tomorrow after she has done some house hunting..

i hope we can do somethign wondrous. i love wondrous.. perhaps it will include vodka..
